This is from the slut walk. One of the arguments is that girls ask for rape because they wear slutty clothes, short skirts, tight, low-cut tops. This girl is an example of the fact that rape victims can look like anyone, you, me, this girl. Rapists. Dont. Discriminate.

an incredibly important message, rape is rape. no one is ever asking for it. a woman has the right to dress how ever they want - it is society that identifies risque dressing as ‘asking for it’, and in my opinion, that way of thinking needs to be diminished.

the best thing about this is that it’s called the slut walk. so according to them, girls who get raped are sluts.

The one thing I don’t like about this is that it’s saying “I wore THESE clothes, I wasn’t looking promiscuous.” I don’t care if a girl is naked, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to rape her.

I love how society just needs a reason why girls get raped so they can get to sleep at night.  ”Oh, well she’s dressed like a slut, which is why she got raped.  So as long as I don’t dress like a slut, I won’t get raped”.  Anyone can be a victim of rape, and no one is ever “asking for it”.  I don’t care who you are.  I don’t care what you’re wearing or what you’ve done.  You don’t deserve to be violated like this.
